I need help, what can I do

in December 29, 2025

This man, in his 40s, came looking for help. Married with children, he talked about how his relationship had suffered over the years, particularly due to a decline in the couple's sexual activity.

He felt he wasn't able to satisfy his partner the way he wanted, often ejaculating too early, even before the act had properly begun. Physically, he carried some extra weight and did little exercise, though he was open to improving that. He drank very little water and ate a lot of bread, though he was already trying to cut back.

He was looking for help to delay ejaculation and relieve the pressure he felt every time intimacy began. Still a bit skeptical about what I was explaining, we moved on to a massage session focused on the genital area.

We started with breathing work, which was a bit difficult to coordinate at first, but by the end of the session he had already gotten the hang of it. Through breathing alone, he managed to hold back, delay and control ejaculation, something he had until then considered unthinkable and completely unfamiliar to him.

He left with "homework": keep practicing the breathing technique, drink more water, and practice controlling ejaculation on his own using what he had learned.

For intimacy to go well, some prior practice is usually needed, especially when it isn't a regular occurrence.

Breath control is a powerful and often underestimated tool in managing sexual response. Practiced regularly, it helps reduce performance-related anxiety and gives a man back a sense of control over his own body, with benefits that show up both in intimacy and in overall well-being.
