On one of my walks I came to a sign with the following information, short trail and long trail. From far away and along the long trail, some scouts were coming, they seemed to be around 11-year-old, so I thought if they are doing that and so easily it's because it's easy, so I'll take the short trail, what would the difficulty be, I thought...
Oh holy ignorance!
I really was "sooooo" wrong, the climb was steep but I managed to climb, making a few stops to admire the view, undoubtedly beautiful.
At one point, I was more with my hands on the ground and my ass in the air, than actually walking. The path became steeper and more difficult. Always climbing and no longer pausing to admire the view but focused on the end of the climb, which I hoped would come quickly, there I kept thinking I would be so good playing a game of cards or just sitting at home or even if I had chosen the normal path instead of the "short trail".
After climbing for a few long minutes that felt like hours, I was already considering the possibility of calling a helicopter to pick me up, there, lost in a hill, without at this point being able to come down, except if I rolled down the hill. So
I continued, thinking to my buttons that the author of the sign must be laughing like crazy, just seeing the slobs who choose the short trail.
Anyway...
I reached the top of the hill and the climb became straight ahead, then I looked around to see if I could see the rogue who had placed the sign there, but he most probably had rolled down the hill laughing so hard.
I arrived! I took a deep breath, shook the hands that had come more on the floor than on top, paused and chose to go down the normal path.
I'm not accepting invitations for short trails not even in my dreams. Ahahahahah
But I did it! Gosh!
