This man, in his 50s, came in for a massage for the first time. He arrived in a hurry, eager for the session to begin.
During the massage, he made a few attempts at contact that weren't part of the service, which I firmly declined, keeping clear professional boundaries throughout. After warning him the session would end if it continued, he settled down for the rest of it.His behavior and the way he expressed himself during the session were inappropriate and disrespectful. Once dressed, he remarked that he wasn't really there for a massage, but for something quite different from what this service actually is.
In situations like this, it's essential to hold firm, clear boundaries at all times. Respect is the foundation of any session, and when that respect isn't there, the professional has every right, and responsibility, to protect their space and their work.
