I got a call from a client I haven't seen in years. On the phone he said, oh, it has been 2 years ago, I'm already your client... time goes by so fast that, 2 years were in fact 5 years.
We had a pleasant talk, catching up. He was now retired, and had all the time to travel, discover new hobbies and enjoying his life at the fullest. And he was doing exactly that.
Keeping active, exercising, eating well. The retirement life really suited him well.
He came once again for a massage. Even though time had passed he had never forgotten me, and in need to relax, there he was again.
He liked how he was treated last time and it stuck with him. I don't treat clients as clients, but as close friends that meet, chat, laugh. The relaxing begins the moment they enter my space, the massage is a much appreciated bonus!
