It was a sunny day in Leiria city. I was on a stroll, something that I often do between my appointments.
Leiria has a river that crosses the city and many people, joggers and walk lovers regularly exercise alongside it.
As do I.
On that particularly day I was with a friend. Having a lovely conversation and relaxing as we walked by the river.
Suddenly we both screamed at the same time. Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and froze.
All the people nearby stopped and looked at us, just trying to figure out why were we screaming.
We didn't know whether to run or move forward.
In front of us, there was a huge RAT, who was crossing the sidewalk, from the river side to the parking lot.
As we screamed he also stopped and gage at us.
And for a second no one moved, not even the rat.
Then he run back to the river side, and the people laughed and so did we.
It was a funny situation, that only 2 women are capable of.
